Nursery Remodel, Decor & Organization
Quinnlyn’s nursery was a room I was so excited to decorate and organize! Before I was pregnant, this room was used for guests, storage, an office, and a place for the dogs to hang out. It was a room that we desperately wanted to redo because of the gross carpet squares and trim that didn’t match the rest of the house. We’re so thankful to my parents for helping us with all the DIY projects. It was definitely a labor of love.
We wanted to keep a bed in her room with the goal of switching off sleeping in there in the first 6 months. Our house only has two bedrooms, so for now it made sense to keep our other bed.

Recliner / Ubbi Trash Pail / Angel and Baby Painting / IKEA Blackout Curtains / (similar) Rug
A lot of the inspiration around the nursery came from this paddle. Ryan and I bought this at an antique store on a trip to the north shore for our first wedding anniversary. So fun! I took the leap and painted this design on the paddle while I was pregnant with Q. It suits our lifestyle, and it hopefully will inspire adventure in Q’s life.
Custom Name Sign / Hatch Baby Rest Sound Machine / Infant Optics Camera & Monitor / Crib Sheets / Blanket / Sealy Crib Mattress
All of the stuffed animals have been gifted to Q, so I don’t have any links for them.
Changing Pad / Diaper Caddy / Hand Sanitizer / Diaper Cream Brush
This is actually my childhood dresser that we painted and re-purposed.
Circular Shelf / Milestone Blocks / Grey Bins / Geometric Succulent / White Plant Pot / “Love at First Sight” Ultrasound Frame
The green candle was from the dollar section at Target.
I don’t have a link for the top shelf white frame. The postcard in it is from our road trip to the Smoky Mountains shortly after I found out I was pregnant with Q.
Industrial Shelf Posts / (similar) Artificial Lavender Plant
I can’t find a link for the “Bless our Nest” sign, but I actually found this little canvas at the Dollar Tree. The world map canvas was painted by me. The wooden shelves were purchased at Home Depot and stained with a weathered oak stain.
(similar) Canvas Bin / Laundry Hamper / Hangers / Closet Size Dividers
Q has so many clothes, it ridiculous! Thankfully we have kept them fairly organized with the closet size dividers.
We have so many books, and we love them all! Some of our favorites are Shel Silverstein “Where the Sidewalk Ends”, Eric Carle “Brown Bear, Brown Bean, What Do You See?”, Shel Silverstein “The Giving Tree”, and Patricio “My First Art Book”.
